Cancellation Policy 🤍
At Hannah’s Helping Hands, I understand that plans can change. This policy is designed to be fair, clear and respectful for everyone.
Babysitting
• Cancellations with 24 hours or more notice – No cancellation fee.
• Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice – 50% of the booked session fee applies.
• Same-day cancellations – Full session fee may apply.
This protects the time that has been reserved exclusively for your family.
House & Pet Sitting
Due to the extended nature of these bookings, the following applies:
• A non-refundable deposit is required to secure all overnight bookings.
• Cancellations made 7 days or more before the stay – remaining balance not required.
• Cancellations made within 7 days of the stay – 50% of the total booking fee applies.
• Cancellations made within 48 hours of the stay – full booking fee may apply.
Peak periods (school holidays, long weekends, Christmas/New Year) may require a higher deposit due to demand.
Elderly Day Support & Sleepover Care
• 24 hours or more notice – no fee.
• Less than 24 hours notice – 50% of booked shift fee.
• Same-day cancellation – full fee may apply.
If cancellations are due to genuine emergencies or unforeseen circumstances, I am always open to discussing on a case-by-case basis 🤍

General Expectations
• All bookings must be confirmed in writing.
• Accurate information about children, pets or care recipients must be provided prior to booking.
• Emergency contacts must be supplied.
• A safe and secure environment must be provided for all services.
I reserve the right to decline or cease services if safety concerns arise.
Payment Terms
• Payment details are confirmed at booking.
• Deposits may be required for extended or overnight services.
• Invoices must be paid by the agreed due date.
• Late payments may incur additional fees.
Respect & Boundaries
Hannah’s Helping Hands operates on mutual respect.
I treat every home and family with kindness and professionalism, and I ask for the same in return.
Any inappropriate behaviour, unsafe conditions or undisclosed risks may result in immediate termination of services.

Babysitting Expectations
• Children must be in a safe home environment.
• Parents/guardians must remain contactable during bookings.
• Any allergies, medical needs or behavioural concerns must be disclosed prior to care.
• I will follow your parenting approach and household rules as discussed.
I aim to leave your home tidy and calm at the end of each session.
House & Pet Sitting Expectations
• Homes must be left in a reasonably clean and safe condition before arrival.
• Clear written instructions for pet feeding, medication and routines must be provided.
• Sufficient food and supplies must be available for the duration of the stay.
• Vet details and emergency contacts must be supplied.
• Cleaning supplies should be accessible for general upkeep.
House sitting is not a deep-cleaning service, but I maintain a neat and respectful home during my stay.
Elderly Support Expectations
• Clear information about medical conditions, mobility needs and routines must be disclosed.
• Emergency contacts and GP details must be provided.
• A safe environment must be maintained for in-home support.
• Transport requirements must be discussed in advance.
I provide non-clinical support and companionship unless otherwise agreed.
